Government of India has announced to spend ,744 crore rupees to promote green hydrogen , out of which 19,466 crore rupees will be given to promote the production of green hydrogen and to encourage the production of electrolyzers. At the same time, 1, 466 crore rupees will be spent under the pilot project. Whereas 466 crore rupees will be spent in research and development. Whereas, crore rupees will be spent on other expenses. These plans will be implemented under the guidance of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Union Minister RK Singh has said that to promote production, the import duty of electrolyzer will also be cut for a short period.
