There is a lot of anger among Egyptians towards CC due to rising inflation and unemployment. People are also having to cut down on buying food and drink. But, people cannot protest in large numbers against CC’s government. Unauthorized demonstrations were banned by making a law in the year itself. However, in the year 2016 when CC gave sovereignty of two islands of Red Sea to Saudi Arabia, then people left the fear of law and came on the streets. CC’s government suppressed the demonstrations very strictly. CC has been accused of human rights violations and corruption, which he denies.
