Ministry said out of these mineral blocks, 5 blocks are related to gold and other blocks are in Jammu and Kashmir (UT), Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand Spread over the states of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, 22 deals with commodities like potash, molybdenum, base metals etc. Blocks were prepared on the basis of work done by GSI from field season 2018- till date.
