In Jabalpur, when the people saw the dead body of the child lying in the drain, their souls trembled. The incident took place in the Railway Colony loco area. According to Civil Line Station Incharge Ramesh Kaurav dial 233 received information about the dead body of a newborn baby lying in a drain located at Railway Colony Loco Line. Dial 415 reached the spot and informed the police station regarding the incident. The dead body of a newborn baby was lying naked in the drain. The age of the newborn will be about two days. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem after taking panchnama action. Station in-charge Kaurav told that cameras are not installed near the spot. The newborn baby is a boy and was probably thrown into the drain to hide the delivery. Investigation is on as to who threw the newborn baby. Whether the child was born dead or was killed or thrown alive would be clear from the post mortem report. Action will be taken as per the law on the basis of the post mortem report. ,
