Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that the Eknath Shinde-led government in Maharashtra is on ‘ventilator support’ and will fall by February. He said that if ‘pressure is not exerted on the court, MLAs (Shinde faction, also known as Balasahebchi Shiv Sena) will be disqualified. The case related to the split of Shiv Sena into Uddhav Thackeray and Shinde factions in June last year and their demand for disqualification under anti-defection laws is currently pending in the Supreme Court.
