Representational Image – Photo: iStock Expansion Union Minister of State for Education Subhash Sarkar said on Wednesday that no country’s curriculum will be copied or copy pasted in preparing vocational curriculum in schools. Vocational curriculum in school education will be designed keeping in view the demand of the industry and future employment in the country. Under the study and possibilities of good suggestions and plans of Singapore model, India will include it in its vocational curriculum. After talking to all the states, with their consent, from the session, skill development will be taught in school education from class VI. Union Minister of State for Education organized in Bhubaneswar 20 National Education Policy (NEP) to foreign delegates in the third meeting of the Education Working Group (NEP)2020 ) gave information about the changes coming in education. He told that now education in mother tongue is getting freedom from NEP. Students can study in their favorite language. Students will get training in skill development along with bookish knowledge in the schools itself so that they can choose employment on the basis of their choice. Slowly the way of job is changing. If technology and skills are not adopted then it will be difficult to get a job. He said that India is going to include the education and skills work of South East Asian countries in the curriculum of Indian school education to include skills in the school education curriculum. ,
