ED said it The investigation pertains to a major scam involving illegal extortion of Rs 25 for every tonne of coal transported to Chhattisgarh by a group consisting of senior bureaucrats, businessmen, politicians and middlemen . So far nine people have been arrested in this case, including State Administrative Service officer Chaurasia, businessman Suryakant Tiwari, his uncle Laxmikant Tiwari, Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Sameer Vishnoi and another coal baron Sunil Agarwal.
