According to earthquake scientist Dr. Rohtash, “The Indian plate is colliding with the Eurasian plate. Due to this the stress level is increasing. Also after a limit, the fraction is increasing in it. Because of this, earthquake tremors occur. Such an event occurs only because of the collision of two plates. Many people claim to predict earthquakes, but there is no scientific method behind it.”

He told that, “China had once claimed that earthquakes are predicted by looking at the behavior of animals. But this claim also cannot be considered to be true. By the way, earthquake prediction has three claims. It depends on when the earthquake will happen. Where will the earthquake come? And what will be its intensity. No one has been able to make any claim about these three predictions, so till date no research has been successful about earthquake prediction.”
