After implementation of old excise policy in Delhi, this decision was taken by Kejriwal government in the month of January. As per the verdict, Republic Day in Delhi on 26 January, Guru Ravidas Jayanti on 5 February, Swami Dayanand Saraswati on February, 18 Liquor shops remained closed on Shivratri in February. Now, on the occasion of Holi on March 8 and Ram Navami on March 2007, liquor shops as well as contracts will be closed in Delhi.
