Ujjain Donkeys Fair

Expansion A unique fair of donkeys has been organized in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh these days. Every year a donkey fair is held in Ujjain from Ekadashi to Kartik Purnima at Kartik Mela Ground on the banks of river Shipra. In this seven-day fair, donkey owners bring their donkeys and sell them. This year too many donkeys and mules have been bid in the fair so far.

Every donkey has a name
The special thing about this fair is that every donkey and mule that comes here has a name. Donkey owners keep their names on the basis of their height, appearance and behavior. This year, the pair of Shahrukh Salman to Alia Ranbir Kar is seen in the donkey fair. So the donkeys named Raja-Rani are also a special attraction of the fair. Buyers inspect the donkeys and negotiate on the basis of their appearance and stature, and buy the donkeys they want and take them with them.

Every year a large number of cattle breeders of the state have reached here with their donkeys for sale. . This time the cattle owners say that after two years, once again the donkeys fair has been held because two years were suffering due to Corona, but this time trade business is going on with tremendous enthusiasm in the fair. Donkeys are brought from all over the state to sell in this fair. Apart from MP, those who buy and sell from Rajasthan also come to Ujjain. ,
