Rain alert issued

Meanwhile, the local office of the Meteorological Department has 12 to 23 July Lahaul-Spiti and Out of 16 districts of the State, excluding Kinnaur has issued an Orange Alert predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall at different places. Along with this, it has predicted landslides, sudden floods, and increase in the water level of rivers and drains. The Met Office has issued a “YELLOW” alert warning of heavy rain on 23 July and It has been predicted to rain in the state till July. The state has received 284.1 millimeter (mm) of rain so far in July, which is 51.4 mm 157 percentage is more. Light to heavy rain is continuing in some parts of the state, Dharamsala received mm of rain. Whereas, in Palampur 51 Mimi, Sundernagar and Nahan (both in 51-39 mm), Kangra (23 mm), Mandi and Narkanda, each in 15 mm rained.
