It may be noted that Indian-origin MP Virendra Sharma of the Opposition Labor Party in Britain had organized a program for Rahul Gandhi in the Grand Committee Room of the Parliament. The microphone that Rahul Gandhi was using in this program was faulty. Rahul Gandhi deliberately started speaking in this mike. He said that our mics in India are not bad, they are working, but you cannot turn them on. This has happened to me many times when I have tried to speak in the Indian Parliament. Rahul Gandhi said that the opposition is being suppressed in India.
