BJP nominated Rekha Gupta for mayor, AAP fielded Shelly Oberoi

In the House meeting convened on February 6, the BJP has nominated Rekha Gupta as its candidate for the post of Mayor. On the other hand, Shelly Oberoi is involved in the race for the post of mayor. For Deputy Mayor, AAP and BJP have fielded Aale Mohammad Iqbal and Kamal Bagri respectively. Along with the mayor and deputy mayor, six members of the standing committee of the MCD are also to be elected.
