The Delhi High Court on Monday dismissed a plea seeking review of its judgment dismissing a PIL challenging the appointment of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud. No error in record The division bench of Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Justice Vikas Mahajan said that the petitioners are clearly not able to show any error on record, hence the petition is dismissed. Petitioner Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari said that the appointment of Justice Chandrachud is against the constitution, so his appointment should be canceled without delay. The petition was also rejected last week Significantly, last week the Delhi High Court bench did not hear the review petition saying that we have already dismissed the PIL, now it would be better if some other bench hears it. CJI has taken oath on 9th November Justice DY Chandrachud on November 9 Sworn in as Justice. they 10 Will remain on this post till November 2023.
