Exemption to emergency services and vehicles engaged in government or election work

Vehicles engaged in government or election work will be exempted. The order states, if any BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel LMV four wheelers are found plying on the roads, then section 1988 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 447 under , shall be fined Rs. The pollution level in Delhi has reached the ‘severe’ category since November 4. The AQI on November 4 was 1988.
