According to information, this Tilak dispute has come to the fore in Tejgarh of Damoh district. Arif Shah, a resident of Tejgarh, told that during the Panchayat elections, Tilak was applied to one Namdev brother. After applying Tilak on which Namdev Bhai also applied Tilak to Arif. Due to this, the domineering people of the society got angry with Arif and they ostracized him from the society along with his family. Whoever used to meet or talk to him, they were also forced away.
