A laborer from Damoh district went to Goa for labor with his family two months ago. There, the worker died due to ill health. The villagers then raised money from public donations and flew his body to the village. Bihari father Zahar Singh Lodhi of Baheria, a small village in Jabera assembly constituency of the district, went to Goa for wages two months ago were gone. There he fell ill. He died while undergoing treatment for abdominal pain. The villagers gave public cooperation to bring Lodhi’s body to the village. Local MLA Dharmendra Singh Lodhi also helped in this. The body was flown to Bhopal. The body was brought to the village by ambulance.
