A truck full of cattle overturned in Damoh. – Photo: Social Media Extension of Madhya Pradesh More than two dozen cattle died in a road accident in Damoh district. Actually they were being taken somewhere in a truck. The speeding truck went out of control due to a speedbreaker and overturned. After the accident, only dead bodies of cattle were visible on the roadside. The truck driver-operator also fled from the spot. With the help of the villagers, the police got the cattle cremated. According to the information, the incident took place in front of Jhapan Berial and Mohri village under Imlia Chowki of Tejgarh police station in Damoh district. The area comes under Nauradehi Sanctuary. Imlia Chowki in-charge Anand Ahirwar said that information was received on Tuesday night that a truck had overturned on Muhli Marg in front of Jhapan and the cattle loaded in it had died. The police team reached the spot and took stock of the incident. Saw dead bodies of cattle lying on the side of the road. Some cattle were alive, which were given water, but later they also died. There is a possibility that the speed of the truck was high and the speed breaker overturned uncontrollably. However, the real reason is being sought. There is no confirmation yet on where the truck was going. Imlia Chowki in-charge Anand Ahirwar told that the truck in which these cattle were, belongs to Maharashtra Passing. The driver-operator of the truck has also not been found. All the dead cattle were cremated and buried on Wednesday morning. ,
