This aircraft stood in the premises of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata for decades. Its weight is more than 8 tons. At the same time, its length is approximately 41 feet 8 inches. The Odisha government has deputed a special team to reassemble the broken parts of the vehicles after their arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has allotted 1.1 acres of land at BPIA for this purpose.

Director of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) Prasanna Pradhan said that there has been a lot of wear and tear on the aircraft in the last few years.
