This action has been taken in the case of misuse of the amount collected in the name of Kovid in 2021. The Enforcement Directorate has given this information on Thursday. Officials say that this action has been taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The provisionally attached properties under this include agricultural land and buildings located in Khandwa district. It was informed by the ED that the value of the attached assets is Rs.5.32 crores. It was also informed that this is a fresh order of attachment of property in the case, as the agency had earlier ordered ) crores of land and foundation 11.19 FD worth Rs.
