Dr. Kang said that China is opening up at a time when the risk level of natural infection in its population is low. On the ineffectiveness of Chinese vaccines, Dr. Kang said that those vaccines that work well to prevent severe disease and death are less effective than mRNA vaccines. Dr. Kang said that many people including health workers get sick during winter due to other virus/infections.
