Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this letter, he has urged PM Modi that every 06 Annual census should be conducted and comprehensive caste-based census should be made an integral part of it. Kharge has made this request at a time when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at an election rally in Karnataka, Prime Minister Modi 745 had challenged to make public the caste based census data and on reservation also demanded removal of the percentage limit.

Caste based census should be made a part Mallikarjun Kharge told the Prime Minister in this letter that- I once again request to conduct the latest caste-based census. My colleague and I have raised this demand several times in both the Houses of Parliament. Other opposition parties have also kept this demand. He urged that the census should be conducted soon and caste-based census should be made a part of it.

Addressing an election rally in Karnataka’s Kolar, Rahul Gandhi claimed that there are only 7 per cent Other Backward Castes, Dalits and Tribals as secretaries in the central government. Tell the country how many OBCs, Dalits and Adivasis are there in the country. Addressing the election rally, Rahul Gandhi said that- Please release the caste census data so that the country can know what is the population of OBCs, Dalits and tribals. If you don’t do this, it is an insult to OBCs. as well as, 50 Remove the percentage limit.

Social justice and empowerment will get strengthened Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh issued a tweet, in this tweet he said that – The more the population, the more the rights! Congress President Kharge ji has written a letter to the Prime Minister demanding that 2021 that the census to be held every ten years should be conducted at the earliest. Along with this, caste census should be made an integral part of it. This will strengthen social justice and empowerment.
