According to media reports, the Padyatra being led by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has covered a distance of more than 2,800 kilometers so far. The yatra 24 after entering Delhi on December, will move towards Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and finally Jammu and Kashmir after a break of about nine days. The yatra has seen participation from film and television personalities such as Pooja Bhatt, Riya Sen, Sushant Singh, Swara Bhasker, Rashmi Desai, Akanksha Puri and Amol Palekar, as well as people from many other sections of society. Apart from senior Congress leaders, former Navy Chief Admiral L Ramadoss, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) Supriya Sule, DMK leader Kanimozhi and former Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan, among others, were also present during the time- Have joined this padayatra on time.
