The increase of anthropogenic greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, especially the doubling rate of CO2, is related to an average global temperature increase of 1.5°C. The increase in greenhouse gases could lead to uncomfortable conditions in the pre-monsoon season with unseasonably hot and humid days and nights. During the pre-monsoon season, the clouds spread upwards and mostly come up during late afternoon and early evening hours. They are produced by conditions like high temperature, low humidity, unstable conditions etc., which result in the formation of clouds at very high altitudes. Pre-monsoon rains are accompanied by occasional gusty winds accompanied by dust storms and are patching in nature.
