CISF Foundation Day: Union Home Minister Amit Shah (Amit Shah) said that the Center has Has successfully faced many internal security challenges in nine years. He emphasized that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government’s policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism will continue in the coming times as well. Shah here 4541 of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). said at the 7th Foundation Day celebrations that separatism, terrorism and anti-national activities in any part of the country would be dealt with strictly.
Emphasis on the role of CAPFs in the fight against terrorism Emphasizing on the role of CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) and state police in the fight against terrorism, he termed it as ‘crucial’ and said that this has been demonstrated in the last nine years. Amit Shah said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government has successfully faced the challenges of internal security in the last nine years. He said that violence in Kashmir has come down considerably. Whereas, militancy has also reduced in the North East and Left Wing Extremism affected areas and people’s confidence is increasing.
Leave arms and join mainstream Union Minister Amit Shah said that the number of people indulging in terrorist activities is decreasing and many people are giving up arms and joining the mainstream. He said that any country can progress only if its airports, ports and industrial establishments are secure. He praised the CISF personnel for the services to the country.
The target of taking the economy to five thousand billion dollars Amit Shah said that if Prime Minister Modi’s target of making the country’s economy reach five thousand billion dollars is to be achieved, then the security of airports, seaports and other establishments of national importance is very important. He expressed confidence that CISF will meet these challenges in future. He said that the Union Home Ministry will leave no stone unturned to equip CISF with modern technology to meet the challenges of the future for ensuring security of airports, seaports and others.
CISF adopts hybrid model On the ‘Hybrid Model’ adopted by CISF, Shah said that CISF has adopted a hybrid model and its role is going to increase a lot in the coming times. This model will open the way for it to be used in advisory and many other roles in private companies as well. He said that in the coming decades, this force will also be able to protect private companies from security related threats like modern technology and drones. Shah said that India has become a fast growing economy today. He said- It is our responsibility to keep the country’s institutions, mines, ports and airports safe.
Country is facing challenges like fake currency and drugs Union Home Minister said that- Today the country is facing many challenges like counterfeit currency, infiltration and narcotics and with a bright history, CISF has secured the country. He also paid tributes to the CISF personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. CISF Director General (DG) Sheel Vardhan Singh also addressed on this occasion.
