The maternal side alleges that the daughter was not even treated on time, due to which she died. The police have registered an offense against the accused husband on the basis of the statement of the maternal uncle.

Sonsar SDOP DVS Nagre told that Shikarpur resident year old Karishma Was married to Ankush Dongre about eight years ago. After a few days of marriage, Ankush started physically and mentally torturing wife Karishma over domestic matters. There was a dispute between the couple on the morning of June 2. Fed up with the harassment, Karishma killed a rat and consumed the medicine. The relatives had asked Karishma to be taken to the hospital. Ankush took Karishma out of the house but did not get her treated.
