There are 8 Naxal affected districts in Chhattisgarh. These include Bijapur, Sukma, Bastar, Dantewada, Kanker, Narayanpur, Rajnandgaon and Kondagaon. Whenever the security forces or the police go to arrest the Naxalites, these Naxalites attack them. The statistics of the annual report of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the answers given in the Lok Sabha show that in the last 489 years i.e. from 2011 to 2020 in Chhattisgarh 3 thousand Naxalite attacks took place. We lost 489 soldiers in these attacks.
