In this case, the court had said that the counsel appearing for the Center and Arundhati Katju, the advocate for the petitioners, together collect all the written information, documents and old precedents, on the basis of which the hearing would proceed. All the petitions were transferred by the Supreme Court: Tell me, the Supreme Court has transferred to the Delhi High Court Including the pending petitions related to same-sex marriage in all the High Courts of the country were transferred to him. The court had said that the counsel appearing for the Center and Arundhati Katju, advocate for the petitioners, together collect all the written information, documents and old precedents, on the basis of which the hearing would proceed. Significantly, in consensual homosexual sex has been decriminalized by the Supreme Court. Justice Chandrachud was also included in the constitution bench of the Supreme Court which gave the ouster verdict. Justice Chandrachud had issued a notice in this regard to the Center in November last year and sought the help of Advocate General R Venkataramani with regard to the petitions.
