Voting has started for the assembly by-elections in seven assembly seats of six states. Voting is to be held today in Mokama and Gopalganj in Bihar, Andheri (East) in Maharashtra, Adampur in Haryana, Munugode in Telangana, Gola Gokarnath in UP and Dhamnagar in Odisha.

Voting has started for the by-elections to be held on two seats of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Polling for the by-elections to be held in Gopalganj and Mokama seats began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm in both the seats. After voting on Thursday, the votes will be counted on November 6. Today the government has declared a public holiday in Mokama and Gopalganj.
