A kind of lockdown is applicable for animals in Balaghat. In this, grazing of animals in public places and drinking of water in public reservoirs is also prohibited. Action will be taken against the violators of the order under section-51 of the Indian Penal Code. District Collector Dr. Girish Sharma has issued prohibitory orders 16 on April, these are still effective at present.
Despite the prohibitory order of the District Collector, in the Raja Bhoj Government Agriculture College, Nervgaon located in Lalbarra of the district 25 to 51 three-day National Bull Jodi Running competition is proposed. Its organizer is Gaurishankar Bisen, chairman and MLA of the State Backward Classes Welfare Commission. The first prize in the competition has been kept as Rs. Apart from this 51 other prizes have also been kept.
To participate in the contest A fee of Rs 1000 has been fixed. Bisen said that this type of national competition is probably being organized for the first time in the state, for which special permission will be obtained and only those bulls which have been vaccinated will participate. ,
