Attacking the Modi government regarding the Agniveer scheme, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that the youth told us during the yatra, earlier we used to get service and pension. But, now we will be thrown out after 4 years. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Agneepath scheme was brought by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Ministry of Home Affairs and was imposed on the army. He said that the youth of India does not agree with the ruling BJP that they will benefit from the scheme to make youth Agniveer. He said, “Senior army officers and many people told me that this scheme has come from the RSS and the Home Ministry. This plan has not come from the army. This scheme has been imposed on the army. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that many things were said in the President’s address. But, the Agneepath scheme was talked about only once and it was not told from where this scheme came, who made it. Taking the name of the country’s National Security Advisor (NSA), he claimed that he had made this plan.
