Election for the post of Mayor in Delhi is to be held today, in which there will be a direct contest between Shelly Oberoi of Aam Aadmi Party and Shikha Rai of Bharatiya Janata Party. AAP is ruling in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Two candidates have filed nominations for the mayoral election. In which the current mayor is Oberoi and BJP’s Shikha Rai. Shelly Oberoi was elected the mayor of Delhi on February. He defeated BJP’s Rekha Gupta with a margin of 116 votes. Shelly got 116 votes, while Rekha got 116 votes out of total 266 votes.
