At least six people were killed and six others were injured in Nepal due to floods and landslides caused by rains. Nepal Police said on Monday that three people were killed in Taplejung and one each in Panchthar, Nuwakot and Sankhuwasabha districts, while three people were injured in floods and landslides in Sankhuwasabha, two in Taplejung and one in Panchthar. Police said that 29 people have gone missing in rain-related incidents in different parts of the country in the last 48 hours. Police said that the missing people are being searched. He said that in the natural calamity houses, huts, bridges, five industries and two Government offices have been damaged.
