It may be noted that year old Bilkis Bano was gang-raped during the post-Godhra train burning riots and seven members of her family including her three-year-old daughter had been murdered. She was five months pregnant at the time of the incident. Thereafter all convicts were lodged in Godhra sub-jail and all of them were released on 15 August last year.
