Complainant’s lawyer Ankur Mahindro said on his behalf- the allegations are completely false and fabricated and their nature is defamatory. Also, the said allegations are completely contradictory and contrary to the statements. He said, “Instead of repenting for the heinous act committed by the accused, he has adopted a campaign of spreading misinformation and lies with the intention of further harassing the victim.” Additional Sessions Judge Harjyot Singh Bhalla disposed of the police’s application saying that the police can approach the magistrate’s court afresh with their application.
