Please inform that there has been snowfall in some high altitude areas of Kashmir. The minimum temperature was recorded near the freezing point at most places in the valley. In the high altitude areas, there is a sheet of snow at many places and due to this it is slippery. Kashmir is currently in grip of severe cold Chillai-Kalan for 40 days. There is a high chance of snowfall during this time. This phase lasts from 30 December to 30 January.
