Here the samosas were kept covered with a dirty sack. Hundreds of flies were buzzing on the potato masala. Samosas were being sold to horkers for three rupees. The Food Department sealed the Idris Samosa factory by sending it for sample testing. Food Safety Administration is continuously conducting inspection in Bhopal city. On Wednesday, Idris Samosa located in Shankaracharya Nagar, near Bajaria police station, was found to be manufacturing samosas in highly contaminated conditions. Several thousand samosas were made and sold at this place together. Here the rules of food safety were being completely ignored and all the work was going on in the environment of filth with contaminated material in samosa manufacturing. Due to the manufacturing of food items in unhygienic conditions without obtaining food registration/license, the construction area was sealed as per the instructions of Designated Officer Devendra Kumar Verma. Samples of samosa spices and flour have been collected from the spot and sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory, Bhopal for examination. The Food Department officials were informed by the owner of the factory, Idrees Khan, that it was being sold by him to hawkers at the rate of three rupees per samosa. ,
