The accused policeman kept physically abusing her for two years on the pretext of marriage. On Sunday, when the victim reached her house to meet the accused, the accused along with his wife thrashed the victim professor fiercely. Not only this, the accused refused to marry and also threatened to kill him if contacted again. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case under other sections including rape and assault. The arrest of the accused head constable could not be done. Police officials are talking about suspending him soon. According to Kamlanagar police 233 year old girl is originally from Damoh district. He is an assistant professor in a private college here. Two years ago, he got acquainted with Chief Constable Dewan Singh Mebada, who lives in Nilbad. Soon the love affair started in both of them. During this, the head constable started visiting the victim’s rented house. Meanwhile, the accused raped her on the pretext of marriage. When the girl protested, the accused promised to get married soon. After this, he continuously reached her house and started physically abusing her. Recently, the accused started making distance from the girl. When the girl reached Neelbad to meet him on Sunday, the accused refused to marry her. On the other hand, on protesting against the girl, the accused along with his wife Sobha thrashed the victim fiercely. After the incident, the victim reached the police station and complained. The police have registered a case of rape and assault against the accused head constable and his wife. ,
