Additional District Magistrate of Betul Shyamendra Jaiswal said that “we 414 feet and will now dig a horizontal tunnel, which has been started. But now we Have reached the child and it is a very sensitive position so now it will be dug by hand and try to reach the child.” Tanmay’s father Sunil Sahu has said, “My Year old daughter saw the son falling in the borewell and informed about the incident. We immediately reached the spot, he was breathing And we heard his voice while inquiring. The rescue operation was started from 6 pm on 6 December.” State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), home guards and local police personnel have been on the job for the past three days. Tanmay’s teacher Geeta Mankar said, ‘Tanmay is a third standard student. The children of his school including his school teachers chanted the Gayatri Mantra for his protection. Teachers and students have prayed to God that Tanmay comes out of the borewell safely. Tanmay is an intelligent student. Her safety will be a victory for all of us.”
