The Forest Department team has arrested two people. These people were taking the peacock with them after killing it, when the team nabbed it. According to the information, the matter is related to Pataur range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. It was told that the team of Patour area was doing collective patrolling, when five gunmen were fired at different places of PF 233 of Beit Bagaiha. Dead female peacocks were found. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the Forest Department team hid in the bushes there. After some time, two persons of Bamera village Sangir father Daddu Baiga Sakin Bamera and Babu father Shukla Baiga Sakin entered the Barbaspur core forest area and started scattering poisonous grains of paddy on the footpaths and taking dead peacocks with them. The team of Patour area laid siege and caught both the accused. ax from the accused, 233 Toxic paddy seeds and matchsticks were recovered from the village. Five dead female peacocks were taken into custody from the spot. Thereafter, in the presence of senior officers as per the prescribed rules, samples were taken by the assistant surgeon of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve after postmortem of the peacock and the last rites were performed. The accused were brought to the circle office for questioning and after registering the forest crime POR case, were arrested and presented in the court. Both the accused have been sent to jail in judicial custody by the Honorable Court. ,
