Assembly elections are to be held in a total of 9 states this year, along with three states in the Northeast. Which includes Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana apart from Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura.
