Whereas, before the assembly elections to be held in Nagaland, BJP President JP Nadda reached Kohima. Here he released the party’s manifesto in view of the assembly elections. During this, JP Nadda said that 5 years back the North East had to face blockades, militancy, targeted attacks etc. But today Nagaland has again come on the path of peace, prosperity and development. Nagaland has been a story of growth. In the last 8 years insurgency has reduced by 80 percent and AFSPA has been removed from percent areas. He said that PM Modi considers the states of North East as Ashta Lakshmi, they have peace, electricity, tourism, 5G signals, culture, natural farming and sports along with other potentials on the basis of development.
