Spokesperson Rohit Rajbir Singh said that a search operation is being conducted under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (SP) of Tirap and Commanding Officer of 6th Assam Rifles to nab the absconding prisoners. Singh said that legal action is being initiated against the personnel for dereliction of duty.
