14 Amritpal Singh and Papalpreet fled from Punjab after the police action on March. Papalpreet has already been arrested. Papalpreet was seen in several pictures with Amritpal Singh, which came to the fore after he escaped from the clutches of the state police. Several criminal cases have been registered against Amritpal Singh and his associates related to disharmony, attempt to murder, assault on police personnel and obstructing public servants in discharge of duty. So far 9 people including Amritpal Singh’s close friend Papalpreet have been sent to Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail, now only Amritpal remains to be arrested.
