AIIMS Sever Down: The server of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi remained stalled for the seventh consecutive day. Though the e-hospital data has been restored, the network is still being sanitized before the services are restored. Apart from this, measures are being taken to prevent any such cyber attack in future. All hospital services including outpatient, in-patient, laboratories will continue to run in manual mode for the time being. The network is being cleaned before restoration of services A statement from AIIMS states that the e-hospital data has been restored on the server. The network is being cleaned up before services are restored. The process is taking some time due to the volume of data and large number of servers/computers for the hospital services. Measures are being taken for cyber security. Last Monday i.e. AIIMS statement on November said, "Data restoration and cleaning of servers is underway and is taking some time due to volume of data and large number of servers for hospital services .Measures are being taken for cyber security." National Investigation Agency (NIA) also joined the probe National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also joined the investigation. Representatives of India Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), Delhi Police, Intelligence Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) are already probing the incident. Internet services will remain closed in AIIMS Delhi after the recommendations of the investigating agencies. Earlier, AIIMS had also issued a new set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which states that the admission, discharge and transfer of patients to the hospital will be done manually till the e-hospital is down. Latest SOP to be followed in manual mode till the e-hospital is down Hospital has stated that the latest SOPs are to be followed in manual mode till the e-Hospital is down. The admission, discharge and transfer have to be done manually at AIIMS, New Delhi. Indent has to be done manually. The hospital further said that death or birth certificates have to be made manually on forms as per the instructions of the working committee.
