Expansion On the day of Mahashivaratri, a round of events went on in the city throughout the day. Indore Collector Ilaiah Raja T offered prayers at the Shiva temple located in Khajrana temple. Due to Mahashivratri being on Saturday and Sunday being the next day, all the institutions organized a large number of events. All kinds of religious, cultural, social events were organized in these.

Khajrana Indore Collector performed special worship in Khajrana on Mahashivaratri. The city’s most popular temple witnessed a huge crowd since early morning. A queue of people was seen in the Shiva temple here. People come here with family and enjoy various types of Prasad like Khichdi, Kheer etc. Arvind Bagdi and Kailash Panch of Bhakta Mandal told that in Khajrana Ganesh temple 18 quintal khichdi And 18 Prasad of liter kheer was given.

Shivdham Pardeshipura
This is considered to be the most artistically popular temple of Indore. Here the Bhasma Aarti took place at 4 in the morning. After this there was anointing with golden urn. Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati decorated as bride and groom.

Classical Singing
A program of classical singing has also been organized on this occasion. A recital by classical singer Smita Mokashi was organized at 5 pm at Aalap Studio in New Palasia. ,
