A bench of Chief Justice Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice PS Narsingh and Justice JB Pardiwala said that it will not consider the issue and this matter comes under the jurisdiction of the legislature. Earlier, the apex court referred to its order dated February, in which it had dismissed another PIL filed by advocate Ashwini Upadhyay. This petition also sought equality of legal age of marriage for men and women.
