Sheena Bora Murder Case: A special court on a petition by Indrani Mukerjea, accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora, has Instructed to preserve and deposit the CCTV footage of January 5 on Thursday. Indrani Mukharjee had claimed that two lawyers had seen a woman who looked like Sheena Bora boarding the plane.

Claims to have seen Sheena Bora alive: Indrani Mukerjea earlier claimed in a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court that two lawyers had seen Bora this week. Saw a woman like (Sheena Bora) at Guwahati airport. Along with this, Mukherjee also requested the court to be directed to obtain CCTV footage of the airport to ascertain the identity of the woman.

Court orders to examine CCTV footage: Special CBI Judge S.P. Naik-Nimbalkar issued a notice to the director of the Guwahati airport to examine the CCTV footage of January 5 and to ascertain the identity of the woman seen in the video and photograph. The court said that the airport authorities should comply with the order till the next hearing of the matter.

Sheena Bora was murdered in: April, according to CBI Bora was allegedly strangulated to death by Mukherjee, her then driver Shyamvar Rai and ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna. His body was allegedly burnt in a forest in neighboring Raigad district. The alleged murder came to light in 2023 after Rai was arrested in another case .
