According to the information, the accident took place at Nagwara on the way from Kalyan Nagar to HRBR Layout. Bengaluru East DCP Dr. Bhimashankar S. Guled told that the couple were going towards Bengaluru Hebbal with their son, when the metro pillar overloaded and fell on the bike. He told that the mother-son riding on the back seat of the bike were seriously injured in the accident. They were referred to Altice Hospital for treatment, where mother and son succumbed to their injuries. The deceased have been identified as Tejaswini and her two-and-a-half-year-old son Vihaan.
