Former ICICI CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar, arrested in the money laundering scam, came out of jail on Tuesday. The Bombay High Court, while granting interim relief to the Kochhars on Monday, said that it is the duty of the police not only to record in writing the reasons for the arrest, but also in cases where the police choose not to do so.
